The commercial zone of the Borgo is called “Piazza Borgo”, it is going to be designed around the idea of an old Italian Reinassance villa surrounding an internal courtyard. It will include many unique shops, restaurants, hotel and the largest wine tasting cantina in Central Italy.
The “AbruzzoBorgo” Hotel will be in the shape of a castle. It will have a total of 10 bedrooms, each one of them will be designed in a unique way in the old Italian style with real oak beams and vaulted brick ceiling: every room will have its own theme and will be unlike any other, each one of them will also be inspired by the nature and landscape surrounding the Borgo, like the vineyards, the olive groves and so on. The entire hotel will be structured with a special consideration for environmental sustainability, utilising features like keycards to reduce wasteful use of electricity, and it will be equipped with all the most recent technologies regarding both the structure and the services offered. Another standout element of the hotel will be the “Luna di Miele” honeymoon suite, reserved for newlywed couples, located in the castle tower with a jacuzzi and a spiral staircase leading to a private terrace, allowing them to enjoy with full intimacy the wonderful view of the Abruzzese countryside. Furthermore, all hotel guests will be granted unlimited access to the park with swimming pool, boules court, a playground for the kids and of course breakfast in bed!
The “Bacchus” Restaurant (the Roman God of Wine) will have vaulted ceilings, alcoves and tea lights that will create the perfect old world Italian atmosphere. A glass pannel depicting Caravaggio’s Bacchus with up lighting, and red wine running down will greet you at the enterance. With an emphasis on wines the reastaurant will serve high quality steak and top local organic products; your personal bottle of wine can be chosen from the hundreds of wines stored in the cantina.
Il Giardino degli Ulivi
The “Il Giardino degli Ulivi” Restaurant and Pizzeria will be located on the ground floor and will specialise in high-quality pizza, made in a wood-burning oven, open during the evening. During the morning, continental and English breakfasts will be served, while pasta, sandwhiches and healthy dishes will be mainly served at lunch; at dinner you may watch the pizza-chefs prepering the pizza or, on a lovely evening, you can take advantage of the outside tables. The bar in the restaurant will offer a wide range of cocktails, spirits and beers from all over the world, there will also be Abruzzese specialities, such as Centerba and Aurum.
The wine vaults are situated in the cellar below the commercial area. They will be designated for the storage and tasting of wines from all over the world, but particularly from Abruzzo. You will be able to buy tokens from the reception and taste wine whenever you feel like it. Wines can be bought for the restaurant, for personal use at their property or they can even be sent abroad.
Inside the complex you’ll find a spa that will provide various services such as a chocolate massage, hot stone massage, manicure, pedicure, hair treatments, mud facial masks and much more.
There will be a large supermarket on site, where you will find a large selection of food and drink, electric decives and products for travellers. It will sell local produce, spirits, and products coming from the Borgo itself. Ready-to-make recipe boxes with all the necessary ingredients inside will also be available.
Oil and Wine Shop
Inside the Borgo you will also find a unique shop. In it, there will be many olive oils and wines for tasting. There will be photographs of locals with captions explaining who they are and what they produce, and their products will be on display in front of them and can be tasted and bought. Clients will be able to choose which wine, olive oil or balsamic vinegar they wish to take home. They will then choose from a display of differing bottles the size and form they wish to buy. Each of these bottles can also be personalised.
There will be a clothing shop, catering for both men and women, on site.
Ski and beach shop
A specialised shop, which in summer will sell parasols, swimsuits and suncreams, and in winter, apart from selling ski boots and snow suits, will offer ski equipment rental, which clients may need in order to go skiing in the 22 ski resorts near the Borgo. This will save clients time renting equipment at the ski resort itself, enabling them to spend more time on the ski slopes.
In case you get a cold in Winter or sunburnt in Summer, the parapharmacy will provide you with everything you need to make sure that the rest of the holiday is enjoyable.
Car and moped rental shop
Where you can hire a vehicle for the holidays, from cars, to mopeds to quods.
It will sell books and newspapers, both Italian and international, stamps, postcards and envelopes.
Real Estate Agency
Where it’s going to offer services like rental management, buying of vineyards and olive groves, holidayshare, it can also inform you of the houses still available at the Borgo, as well as other properties in Abruzzo.
Where you can book your tours during your stay: excursions in the mountains, trips to characteristic towns, mountain biking trips and much more.
Our bakery will be filled with daily bread, homemade pasta, sandwiches, desserts, pastries, drinks, coffee and more.
That will be available for booking you are planning events.
Where pproducts for the house will be sold, from plates to coffee cups to cleaning products.
Here you will be able to print out your photos: on paper, t-shirts and anything else you might want to personilise.
Where you will be able to learn how to cook Italian style!
Babysitting service will be active to take care of children, so that the parents can have some time-out.
ATMs, Charging Points and Internet
There will be ATMs for money withdrawal. You’ll also find many charging points to charge your electric devices and a wireless Internet service.
Airport Pickup Service
From the commercial area you can make use of a pick-up service to and from Rome and Pescara’s Airports, and to the cities of Chieti and Torre De’Passeri, linked to the Prontobus and Arpa bus stops.

Homeowner and Fidelity Cards
Eventually, the clients of the commercial area will be able to use different fidelity cards. Carta Verde Borgo and Carta Rosso Borgo will provide a wide set of discounts and services.
