The Borgo degli Ulivi is a green project as much as possible. Care has been taken to re-use all the old materials from the demolition of the old house which was unfortunately in to bad condition to repair. The old wood beams have been used for lintels over the windows and doors and for constructing different items throughout the project. The old Majella stones have been re-used in the buildings themselves and also on some of the pathways. The old bricks have been cleaned and been used in different parts in the building. For example in on of the windows you see above. The old tiles have been re-used in various roofs and also for decoration in certain of the apartments. Even the small chips of stones and tiles and brick had been used in the pathways. Water is been collected from the roofs to water the garden and purify for use in the pools. Solar panels are being used to produce energy.

The Borgo degli Ulivi's development project merges the medieval atmosphere with the highest standards of today's accommodation, giving you a unique mix of nature's inspired emotions and a complete sense of well-being.
